Thanks to your purchase we can sponsor Adan M., a 7 years old girl of the isolated rural community of Golbo, on the Ethiopian border of Kenya. The climate is dry and very hot and about 29,000 people live here. Most people are farmers, but many struggle to make a living due to drought and livestock disease. Lack of clean water helps to spread diseases and malaria is common. Access to health clinics and schools is severely limited. As a result, illiteracy levels are very high, particularly amongst women.
We are supporting Adan and the Golbo people via the child-focused charity organisation World Vision Australia.
