Gaia is named after the Greek goddess of the Earth, a personification of our planet in its purest form. We recognise gemstones and diamonds as incredible and beautiful creations of the Earth, and with each precious stone taking over millions of years to develop, our team honours each beautiful gem with the care that it deserves.
GAIA creates handmade, traditional and modern jewellery pieces that not only increases the value of the gemstone but works in harmony with natural and sustainable materials. Creating ethical jewellery and using socially and environmentally sustainable practises is a key mission for us. We want to create jewellery that not only makes our customers look good, but feel good about wearing.
We work with designers, artisans, and suppliers from all over the world, and supporting their heritages, environmentally conscious practices, and connection to the Earth is incredibly important to our company.

Our Company
GAIA Gems and Jewellery was founded in 2019 with the aim of creating handmade, artisan, and traditional jewellery. We firmly believe in using ethical, environmentally friendly, and sustainable practices and materials so that our clients know that the high-quality jewellery they are purchasing is created safely and caring for our natural environment.

We have a collection of gemstones and materials that we use in crafting our jewellery. Our gemstones range from diamonds and precious stones such as pearls, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds, to tanzanite, aquamarine, garnet, and opal. We partner with independent jewellers that specialise in working with gold, silver, platinum, hypoallergenic niobium, titanium, and tungsten. Our diverse range of gemstones and materials allows us to craft specialised jewellery that connects our precious stones to natural metals and materials. Each piece is lovingly crafted by hand and is completely unique.
We only use natural and handpicked materials; our products are delivered to customers using eco-friendly packaging material excluding non-recyclable plastics, synthetics, or manufactured materials in an effort to complete your experience to reconnect with the Earth.
All of our gemstones are sustainably sourced from reliable resources and are conflict-free so that you can have the confidence, and the peace of mind, that your jewellery isn’t harming the Earth; it’s working with it.

Our mission and purpose at GAIA is to promote sustainable practices to enhance the natural beauty of the Earth’s products, and as such, to contribute to the ethical development of the industry. With unsustainable and unethical practices, conflict diamonds, child exploitation, and environmental concerns, the jewellery industry often contains negative connotations, but at GAIA Gems and Jewellery, our customers know that their jewellery is conflict-free and sustainable to our natural home.

Our team has over 30 years in the geoscience and mining industry, and with a GIA Accredited Jewellery Professional certification and other GIA gemmological diplomas for coloured stones and diamonds. We’re dedicated, passionate, and knowledgeable about jewels, gems, and natural materials. We love what we do, and we love sharing our work with you.
